Chemical Properties Allyl cyclohexyloxyacetate is a colorless to pale yellowish liquid with a strong, fruity, herbal, green odor reminiscent of galbanum. It is prepared by esterification of cyclohexyloxyacetic acid (from phenoxyacetic acid) with allyl alcohol and is used in fragrance compositions for toiletries and household products.
